What Does a KreteKraft countertop cost?

A typical KreteKraft project will run between $45 and $65 a square foot, with no 'extra' charges like edges, sink cutouts, or even sales tax.

Artisan experience and custom design is never the least expensive option, however we've found that KreteKraft is usually in the mid-tier price range. Not as cheap as formica or tile, but certainly the most cost effective custom option available. Click here to request your estimate.

There are several factors that are used to calculate the investment required;

Size - The number of square feet. (Beware! We often find that salesman have inflated the square footage.)

Design - Next is the design. Some designs are more complex and take more time, hence a slightly higher cost.

Finish - We will work with you to determine the right finish matching both your design and long term durability. High Gloss, Satin, and Matte are available, with a light Satin being the most popular in terms of visual and tactile appeal. Think honed stone.

Bottom Line - Our estimates always include EVERYTHING with absolutely no surprises or extra charges.

Others advertise a low per square foot price, but charge extra for textured or chiseled edges, sink and cooktop cutouts, delivery, etc. Also, since we provide an onsite service, and all our countertops are built in place, there is no sales tax to add. Click here to request your estimate.

Example -

We recently provided a quote for a client who had 65 square feet of countertop, broken up into four areas. A cooktop area, a prep/sink area, a prep island, and a breakfast bar. The customer was quoted a total price for Silestone of over $6,500.00, including all the extra charges for existing countertop removal, sink cutout, cooktop cutout, edges, etc. So the total installed price was almost exactly $100 per foot. We see this all the time. Beware of comparing the 'per foot' price, it's not the whole story. Edges, cutouts, and installation quickly add up!

With a nice Sandstone styled design, textured edges, different design colors under the cabinets versus the island and breakfast bar, and a cool kidney shaped breakfast bar our quote came in at only $3575, or $55 per foot, ALL IN.

So while we don't think price is the most important consideration, getting good value is important to all of us and KreteKraft delivers.
