Thank you Liz, we get that a lot.

In fact, we get that everytime!

And the reason is the process.  Julie will not seal the countertop until the client has reviewed the coloration, and is 'Jump Up and Down' excited about it.  What is the point of having an Artisan Custom countertop if you can't get what you want?

Here's a good example - Julie had finished the coloration for a client, a limestone design with a few darker veins that ran diagonally across the countertop.  One of the more pronounced veins ran into a corner area under the cabinets.

The client said 'I really like that vein, it's just what I had pictured. But, that corner is where the coffee pot will be, and we won't see that wonderful vein!'

No problem!  Julie moved the vein over about 14 inches, and viola, 'Jump Up and Down' happy!

We understand that sometimes you can't get the full picture until you see it in place.  That's why we stop at the coloration, and get the client to have one more look, just to make sure everything meets or exceeds expectations, and only then is the final and permanent seal applied.
