What Does a KreteKraft countertop cost?

We recently provided a quote for a client who had 65 square feet of countertop, broken up into four areas. A cooktop area, a prep/sink area, an island, and a breakfast bar. E-counters.com quoted a price for Silestone of over $6,500.00, including extra charges for existing countertop removal, sink cutout, cooktop cutout, edges, etc. So the total installed price (before sales tax) was almost exactly $100 per foot. Beware of comparing just a 'per foot' price, it's not the whole story!
The KreteKraft project investment was less than $4300! Over 30% less than a countertop like everyone else on the block has, for a custom Sandstone/Limestone one-of-a-kind design. Size
One aspect is of course size, the number of square feet involved.
Design
Next is the design of the look of the piece. Absolutely anything is possible, from simple solid colors, to intricate agates with turquiose veining, bronze, copper, and pewter metallics, to a completely custom look that we design completely from scratch with you, using your own color scheme to exactly match your existing or new decor. Prices will vary with complexity and the time it takes to accomplish. Textures are also available that provide the depth and warmth of slate, soapstone, limestone, and other natural rock formations. We can also handle the backspashes and stove surrounds to either match or contrast your new custom countertop.
Finish
We will work with you to decide what the right finish is for both your look and long term durability. Satin finishes are very attractive and also wear well. A KreteKraft countertop is also stain resistant and will tolerate a high level of heat. So we'll figure out the right finish for your planned usage, and provide tips on keeping your countertop pristine for years to come.
Todays finishes can be glossy or satin, and given the strength and hardness of the underlying materials we use (actually harder than granite on the hardness scale) you won't have to worry about cracking down the road. That's why we offer a lifetime warranty!
